About the Program
ROADS Education Organization, a not-for-profit CA corporation currently operates four Pivot Charter Schools: North Bay, North Valley, San Diego, and Riverside. The program is designed to utilize an online curriculum coupled with site based offerings that allows students to work at their own pace, receive immediate online tutoring, and participate in small group instruction classes and tutorials with site-based California-credentialed teachers. Caring Teachers
Students have access to both online and site-based California-credentialed teachers. Online teachers are available 24/5. (Sunday 8PM to Friday 6PM) Site based teachers provide oversight of the student's entire educational program from choosing the correct courses, to tracking the students' progress in their courses and ensuring students are getting the support they need on a daily basis. Students are surrounded by California-credentialed teachers who are truly invested in their success at school and in their future endeavors.
High Quality Courses
PCS schools offer a comprehensive curriculum including courses in all Core-Content areas (i.e. English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Computer Literacy), Foreign Languages, Physical Education, Fine Arts, multiple Electives, as well as College-Prep and Advanced Placement courses. See and print a

Flexible Access
Students may work entirely from home, an internet café, or anywhere there is internet connection and a computer. Students may also choose to attend site based classes and tutoring with the Pivot teachers in a Pivot Charter School, North Bay resource center. The adaptable schedule gives students the flexibility to work, take care of family or just pursue interests outside of school.

The online curriculum provider has a proven track record in partnering with schools across the nation to deliver customizable online learning solutions that include web-based curriculum, Highly-Qualified/Credentialed teachers, a 24/7 support environment, and a proprietary technology platform specifically designed for secondary education for students in grades 6-12. Students learn and communicate with their teachers in our safe, secure online environment. Parents are able to immediately access their student's progress in each course to ensure their child is remaining on-track and progressing successfully.
